Students participate in extensive hands-on practical sessions involving data collection, data cleaning, spreadsheet analysis, database management, descriptive and inferential statistics, dashboard creation and report writing. They gain practical experience using tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI and statistical software to organise data, identify trends, create visualisations and generate actionable insights for real-world problems. Upon completion, participants will be be able to analyse datasets accurately, prepare professional reports and dashboards, and support evidence-based decision-making in organisations.
