Film Production Training

About This Skill

Turn Stories into Powerful Visual Experiences! This programme introduces students to the practical art and technical process of producing films, documentaries, short videos and other visual content. Trainees learn the stages of film production from concept development and scriptwriting to directing, cinematography, sound recording, acting, production management and post-production. Students participate in hands-on activities such as developing story ideas, writing scripts, planning scenes, operating cameras, setting up lighting, recording sound, directing scenes and managing production crews. They also learn video editing, colour correction, sound editing, transitions, titles and other post-production techniques needed to turn raw footage into a finished production. Upon completion, participants will be able to plan and produce quality video content for entertainment, education, advertising, social media and corporate communication. The programme provides practical foundations for careers in filmmaking, cinematography, video editing, directing and content creation, as well as opportunities to develop independent film and media production businesses.
