Trainees learn colour matching, paint technology, surface preparation and modern refinishing techniques used in the automotive industry. Emphasis is placed on producing durable, factory-quality finishes while observing safety and environmental standards. Students participate in extensive hands-on practical sessions covering dent inspection, sanding, body filler application, priming, masking, spray gun operation, basecoat and clear coat application, colour blending and polishing. They also learn the operation of spray booths and baking ovens, paint mixing, drying techniques, paint defect correction and the proper maintenance of painting equipment and personal protective gear. Upon completion, participants will be able to carry out complete vehicle refinishing jobs, repair damaged paintwork, restore accident vehicles and achieve high-quality baked finishes suitable for commercial workshops and dealerships. The programme prepares graduates for rewarding careers in automobile body repair, vehicle refinishing centres and automotive manufacturing, while also providing the technical and entrepreneurial skills needed to establish a successful car painting and baking business.
