Take Innovation to New Heights! This programme introduces students to the operation and practical applications of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) across various industries. Trainees learn drone components, flight principles, aviation regulations and operational safety requirements. Practical training includes drone assembly, flight simulation, manual and automated flight operations, aerial photography, mapping, inspection techniques, agricultural applications and routine maintenance. Students also learn mission planning, battery management and data collection methods. Upon completion, graduates will be able to operate drones safely and professionally for photography, surveying, agriculture, infrastructure inspection and other commercial applications. The programme prepares participants for careers in one of today's fastest-growing technology sectors.
Mandatory Skills Qualification (MSQ): completing this skill alongside your ND/HND earns you a National Skills Qualification (NSQ) certificate, per NBTE requirements for all polytechnic graduates. Choose it as a vertical skill if it matches your core course of study, or horizontal if it's in a different field entirely.
