About This Skill

Transform Clay into Functional Art! This programme introduces students to ceramic production from raw material preparation to finished products. Trainees learn the properties of clay and other ceramic materials, production techniques and the principles of kiln operation. Students practise clay preparation, moulding, wheel throwing, casting, glazing, decorating and kiln firing.
