Deliver Clean Water with Professional Plumbing Skills! This programme trains students in the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing systems used in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Trainees learn plumbing principles, water supply systems, drainage networks and workplace safety practices. Practical training includes pipe cutting, threading, bending, joining and installation using PVC, PPR, copper and galvanised pipes. Students also install sanitary fittings, water heaters, storage tanks, pumps and drainage systems while learning leak detection, pressure testing and plumbing maintenance techniques. By the end of the programme, graduates will be able to install reliable plumbing systems, diagnose faults and carry out repairs that comply with industry standards. The course prepares participants for careers in construction, facility maintenance and independent plumbing services.
Mandatory Skills Qualification (MSQ): completing this skill alongside your ND/HND earns you a National Skills Qualification (NSQ) certificate, per NBTE requirements for all polytechnic graduates. Choose it as a vertical skill if it matches your core course of study, or horizontal if it's in a different field entirely.
